17th-Century Music for Baroque Lute by Lesage de Richée, Jon Antonin Losy, Charles Mouton & Others
Lutenist Brian Bartling opens Early Music Missouri’s season with a program of 17th-century music for Baroque lute. The concert features solo music by Phillip Franz LeSage de Richée, Ennemond Gautier and Charles Mouton and the Bohemian lutenist Jan Antonín Losy, and includes gracious French dances and witty character pieces.
