Led by Baroque violinist Daniel Lee, an ensemble of violins, violas da gamba and theorbos presents a program of dance suites by 17th-century composer William Lawes. Composed for the court of Charles I, the music straddles the Renaissance and Baroque eras with complex fantasies and pavans as well as lively country dances and solo songs by Lawes and several of his contemporaries.
